Hello Productivity!: Beverage shoot

Fake ice, fake moist!
Photographed by: Trisha S. (Hi!)
Post Processing by: Hi again.

This was for our beverage plate in Photog4, I used adhesive spray plus rock salt and iodized salt for fake frost, and glycering + water for fake moist. It's very easy, doesn't look that fake, does it? ;)

Hello Productivity!: MTV!

Remembering MTV, the old MTV. When I was in grade school I used to watch MTV all the time, and I was fascinated with their series of stations IDs which some of them were just contributed by MTV fans. I used to watch it all the time because back then internet wasn't that of a regular thing to do before and after school, back then it was just dial up, so we had to wait for the videos on the telly, I watch it, also because of VH1, I couldn't hate MTV totally because they produced Daria, and you have no idea how I much I love Daria. Because of MTV I was exposed to a lot of things, culture x art x music x people. But now, *sigh* it's now filled with superficial reality TV shows, god MTV what happened? MTV Philippines was cut here in the PHL 3-4 years ago I think? Ohwell, PHL currently has Channel V and Myx(wtf) for that.

ANYWAY---this is my tribute to MTV. MTV minus the music.
I made this for our After Effects subject.

Hello productivity: Ronnie Torres!

Hello again! These were used for our prelim plate in Photog4, which is for Skin Care. My peg was an ad by Belo Medical Group, and Piolo Pascual was its model. AND AGAIN, this was unplanned--my original plan was to shoot a girl for an Olay ad, but since of the time conflict, Sharlane, Pat and I shared a model--dundundun Ronnie, actually it was very easy shooting him, after 5 minutes okay na. AND I did not edit the photos that much. So again, thank you Ronnie, you saved us!

This is part 2 of my Photog4 plate number 3 which is Fashion Photography. Special thanks also to my brother, Paul Salonga for driving us to BF Homes, to Regala family and to my Photog partner, John Patrick Azucena.

Hello Productivity: Invisible Monsters Book Cover

This is my rendition of Chuck Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters, to those who had read it, I think they'll get it--why my design is something like this. This is for our PRES class, we have to make a book cover of our own or redesign other book covers, AND I chose this one cos this tops my Must-read-books-before-you-die list.

I hope you like it.

Au Revoir,
Trisha!

Hello Productivity: Conceptual Photog Plate 1!

Photography & Post-Processed by: Me, Trisha Salonga.(Aywow)
Make up: T. Salonga
Model: Sharlane Balao

Hello my friends, this is my first plate for our Photography 4 subject handled by Sir Jun Barrameda (Hi sir!), for conceptual photography. The funny thing is I was really unprepared that day I only had a liquid eyeliner, concealer and bronzer that day and I had no model, so good thing my beautiful friend and classmate here, Sharlane Balao modeled for me. She was uncomfortable at first cos she's not really used on being the model (but the photographer). AND good thing our college has a studio inside and we can use it for free, freeloaders. Hahah, and we just played loud music for mood starters.

Can I just say, her beauty is so effortless--and the way she posed for me, in short the shoot was fast and was happy about the results. Love you girl. Our next plate will be product photography, so watch out for that.

Au Revoir,
Trisha!
