Happy 2nd B-day, Vinyl on Vinyl: With Tara McPherson!

So Vinyl on Vinyl (located at The Collective, Malugay St. in Makati) celebrated its 2nd birthday with a bang, with a bang meaning, Tara Mcpherson. The very talented and awesome graphic artist Tara Mcpherson had an exhibit there, and signed some autographs too. The Collective = The New Cubao Ex, or The Cubao Ex of the South (which is much much easier to go to, now, since I live in the South). Actually, going there was unplanned, we've got nothin to do on a Wednesday night that's why I tagged Jess along with me :D

Oh man, can I just say? She's now my idol, I've seen her sketches there, they were so neat and perfectly rendered. That day I was inspired to collab more with some artist friends.

Amanda Lapus and Pauline Lapus, the pretty siblings.

I was so nervous that I never had a a decent photo with Tara! In this photo it's obvious that I faked a smile HAHA

Bangs!

Thanks, Jess!

Mochiko! 70php per piece --totally worth it!

We went home at around 3am-ish. So thanks, Chok for taking us home :D And thanks to Jess for letting me stay over :D

Hello Productivity!: Beverage shoot

Fake ice, fake moist!
Photographed by: Trisha S. (Hi!)
Post Processing by: Hi again.

This was for our beverage plate in Photog4, I used adhesive spray plus rock salt and iodized salt for fake frost, and glycering + water for fake moist. It's very easy, doesn't look that fake, does it? ;)

I heart Creative Juice\ Manila!

So, this is what keeps me busy. I just got accepted 3 weeks ago by an ad agency named Creative Juice\ Manila, a sister company of TBWA\ Mangada Puno. They're all very welcoming, very kalog and fun to be with, na even if you have an overtime-- it's okay. These past few weeks they have exposed me to TVC shoots, brainstorming and the like, and boy, I learned a lot from them. I know it's super stressful, but it's all worth it naman <3 actually you won't mind the stress if you're having so much fun learning about what you want to be in the future, and it has a lot of perks. Plus, I am loving the office's interior, very minimalist! And the eye-catching paintings on the walls.

Gold Guns Girls

WOOPS! Sorry for the hiatus. I've been busy with exams and my internship which I will later on tell you. Soooo-
These photos were used for our PRES subject as Prelim plate. We were tasked to create a "movie" and create our own posters. Our peg were Charlie's Angels, Sucker Punch & Kill Bill.
